Anna Gross, MS, CCC-SLP, CLC

As a licensed speech-language pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and Certified Lactation Counselor by the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice (ALPP), Anna offers evaluations and treatment for infant and toddler oral motor and feeding difficulties and disorders, as well as children and adults with orofacial myofunctional and speech sound difficulties and disorders.

Signs & Symptoms of Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders

  • Open Mouth Posture/ Daytime Mouth Breathing

  • Sleep Disordered Breathing (snoring, audible breathing)

  • Clenching, Grinding, and TMJ Issues

  • Orthodontic Issues and/or Relapse

  • Feeding Difficulties (gagging, choking, poor chewing, picky eating)

  • Speech Difficulties (e.g., lisp)

  • Oral Habits (e.g., thumbsucking)

  • History of reoccurring adenoid and tonsil issues, ear infections

  • Headaches, neck pain and tension

  • Digestive Issues

  • Poor Restorative Sleep and Other Sleep Issues (e.g., difficulty falling or staying asleep, focusing, or feeling well rested during the day)
